WHEN i opened my e-mail box recently my eyes got caught up with the HUNDREDS OF UNOPENED messages in my tray..whoa! THIS IS AMAZING! I receive HUNDREDS (thank God its not thousands)of mails a month..As if--i counted them.Well, i just did. I had no choice as i decided to organize my mail and clik my mouse on the tiny boxes beside each mail.:))))
My eyes flickered with awe as i tried to figure out on WHAT TO DO WITH MOST of them? The ones that come in as marketing stuff are deleted right away.BUT Most of them are forwarded emails that, you know, probably gets around the globe and have wonderful stories, and tales, and the what have you's of a forwarded e-mail..
Though i don't have much luxury to read them one by one as of yet--I CAN'T JUST DELETE THE LIKES OF these kinds of e-mails.I could just delete them--period the end. BUT..It somehow bothers me NOT to have read those messages from friends who took some time and effort to think of me during their "forwarding" moments.
AND if i decide to just leave them un-opened--they HAUNT MY DREAMS! LOL. (the HAUNT me part is an exaggeration, mind you)Well, they stay there unopened but they somehow dis figures my mailbox esp during those times i search and look for something in my mail.
And if i decide to forward them again to my e-mail list? oh well.. IT just goes on and on and on...
How about you? how do you go about your forwarded e-mails?

Hi Mommyscribbles,
I know the feeling, if I have the time or its in my interest I would read it, else I'll just find out who send it and delete it. If I found its interesting then I'll forward it too, very seldom though as I don't want them(my contacts) having the same problem of deciding what to do with it.

We're on the same boat when it comes to the forwarding thing. Its like thinking otherwise if you wish to end the chain with you or give it a go once more. *wink* I only forward those that for me are valuable or one which made me really laugh and some which are new to me.Thanks for sharing. :)

Well, it's a good side of you then to think about the sender feeling when deciding whether to delete or not. For me, I also rarely open forwarded messages, sometimes I do, but not always, usually I read the title, if I interested then I will open it, for example about health, and some other important information. And for the rest, I will delete them all.
