Yes, we all mourned for it today. Here the cars stopped, the people stopped walking. At that time we were working in the office and we stopped our work. We went to the window and mourned for it. This time the earthquake is a really serious disaster. We are all sad for it and we hope we can do something for it. I love China

I think that it is a great idea and a silent prayer for all of the people of China who lost their lives in this horrible disaster.. I pray their souls have found eternal peace.. I think that we also need to pray for the loved ones who have been left behind, pray that Jesus will help them find the peace and acceptance that is so hard to find in a time such as this.. Have a great day and God Bless you..

Though I haven't heard about it, at 2:28 I was asleep (I worked last night) and so would have been unable to participate.

I have of course seen the horrible disaster, deaths, pain and misery that these earthquakes have caused. I wasn't aware of the minutes of silent prayer in your school but i assure you that several times a day i ask God to watch over Your Country and the family, friends, neighbors and fellow countrymen and women that are being affected by this horrific event. I will remember you especially, that you will be able to cope with everything that you have going on in your life.

We in the States heard about the three minutes of silence and also about the halt of the torch for three days... I must admit that many of the people here have cried over the losses of your compatriots... even those who pride themselves on being normally stoic. Many people of all faiths have prayed for your people... for those who have passed and also for those who are left behind. We are hoping that all of the people will get the help they need and are glad that China and its Army seem more willing to take care of its people than Myramar did. I am glad too that the Chinese people are pulling together and are all contributing funds and resources to deal with the suffering caused by this disaster. It is good to have national solidarity at a time like this, and also to realize the truth... that all people, regardless of nation or belief, are related and connected. We human beings are all one people and whatever affects one person affects all people. Your joys and sufferings impact the whole world as do mine.
