People say that god will punish the people have sins and averting disasters for the benevolent people, but the cruel reality is that God doesn't protect good people nor does he punish all the bad. The bad are still at large while the good are buried. I have been seeking an answer to why God does things in this way, but fail to figure out.

Hi, People often say a lot of things, do you believe all that they say? God protects all that he has created, it just how you see it. If you think God is punishing you,he would.....if you think God is teaching you to diffrentiate between right and wrong,he would!!!! There are thing that we might consider wrong, but might be right for the person doing it....we never know the other side of the story. Example ....somebody stealing, might be wrong for us BUT what if he/she is stealing to feed a hungry younger sibling? We just choose to see what we want to and turn a blind eye to the other side. I am sorry for the long lecture..lol. Think about it!

It is true that sin has seperated us from God. But we should repent after we have realised that we have sinned. If we repent sure God will forgive us and bring us closer to him.

Hi, i am a catholic by faith, according to which we have to do penance fro the sins done. But i have my own thinking about it. According to me even God forgives the one who realises that he/she has sinned.God never punishes us...he just makes us realise our mistake. We are never separated from God,he made us in his own image, how could he seperate us from him or we from him? Does a mother abandone her child coz the has done something wrong? NEVER.....so be rest assured God would be with us at all times!
