Yes, here's a politically incorrect discussion. It's so popular to be against drilling for oil in the U.S. especially in Alaska. But really now, didn't they do a study that showed the wildlife actually loved the pipeline as it warmed the area just a little around it? But my big question is, if the U.S. with all it's regulations and good capabilities doesn't drill for oil, won't other nations with less regulations and less safe capabilities do it instead? Why is our untouched land more sacred than other untouched lands? AnD, of course we should develop alternative fuels, but should we let our and maybe many other economies fall apart in the meantime?

I think that they should try and get as much oil from our own natural resources as possible it would help the economy a lot by creating jobs as well as lowering gas prices and we should also be working harder on alternative fuels that work like nuclear power

You would think that they would as they are working on other fuels, but I also think that having alot of money, they don't see things the way we do.

Not only should we start using our own resources, we also need to build new refineries to help ease the capacity overload that are helping to create these high prices.
We also need to scrap the FED and go back onto the gold standard, as the Fed is what is ruining our economy. That is why our dollar is shrinking, and why inflation is such a problem.
Gold is relatively stable and always has been.
