Hey, does anyone else remember the May 19th storyline involving Kane?

That was the day his movie "See No Evil" came out two years ago. Also, Kane went crazy every time he heard that date, because according to the storyline, he lost his parents in a fire and was emotionally scarred by it. Then we got to see Festus dressed up as masked Kane, which led to a short feud of Kane vs. Kane.

I did not know that was Festus before Festus was Festus. Yes I do remember that storyline but I forgot about May 19th. When I watched that match I thought it would be like the Undertaker verse the Undertaker match a while back, but to find out the real Kane lost to the fake Kane. Good job Marcola of remembering that one.

I never saw the actual match, but I do remember the "real" Kane beating up the imposter and throwing him out of the building. (Back to OVW) I remember Shawn Michaels being forced to wear a shirt that said "May 19th" when he was going to wrestle Rob Conway. Shawn beat up Conway and put the shirt on him. Then, Kane destroyed Conway. It would've been funny if "May 19th" had caught on the way Stone Cold's "What" did!

i think that that was a very good and exciting storyline and one of his best storylines ive ever seen well that and the one with undertaker where they had a buried alive match. that crazy heel part of kane is his best he was getting less popular as a face and now i think and hope that side of him is coming again

I remember the story line and i thought it was hilarious. Kane really plays the heel role well. I didn't know that festus played the fake kane.
