My daughter is turning 9 on May 27th. My sister called me today to ask me what to get her for her birthday. The problem is... I don't know!! What do you buy for a 9 year old girl these days? Any suggestions?

accessories will do. Or new clothes or shoes. When I was nine I was starting to be interested in fashion.

Sorry it took me so long to respond! Yeah, she is really into shoes. I suppose she gets that from me! She will definitely get clothes, too, she's growing so fast that she really needs them. Thanks!

My daughter turned 9 on April 29th. Her favorite gift was the Hannah Montana stage that her grandma got for her. We gave her the choice of a gift or a "special" day out, and she chose to go to a local amusement park with a couple of friends. Her aunt gave her some clothes from Justice (she doesn't get name brand clothes from us, so she thought that was pretty cool) and a Ms. Manicure set which she hasn't stopped using yet. Other gifts included an outdoor sports set (volleyball/badminton net), the High School Musical Wii game, a Hannah Montana T-shirt, a porcelain doll (she collects them), and a gift certificate to ToysRUs. Good Luck!

OHH!!! I completely forgot about Hannah Montana! Thank you! She's is crazy about Hannah Montana, my mom bought her socks one day that had Hannah Montana plastered all over them and she absolutely loves them. Thanks again!

The kids here are crazy for Webkinz (stuffed animals that have their own website). But for a 9 year old girl, you can't lose with something from Claire's I think.

I have heard of Webkinz, in fact, I think I'll suggest that to my sister. She's completely lost! Thanks for your help!

My granddaughter is 9. She loves crafts of all kinds. When we go to the library together, she always takes out craft books. Get her something she can make -- a teddy bear kit, a doll kit.

You know, at one point she did mention something about that Build a Bear workshop. Good idea! Thanks!
