My coworker is moving to another state. The unit is going to get her something, but I want to do something special for her. It has to be at least 50% handmade. I know she likes crafting, but I am stumped as to what to give her. I thought maybe a mask, lavender pillow, magnets, any ideas.

I like the idea of a handmade picture frame holding a group shot of the whole office and a basket of crafting supplies. Fill it with supplies to her favorite crafts and I would toss in a few of your magnets too!

My suggestion would be crochet a afghan and each time she cuddled up in it she would remember you. Those are what I make for many, many ocassions.

I suggest that it should be better if she can use it, so, she can carry it where ever she goes, sounds like a lucky charm? yah, it's very nice if you put some effort on it and put an harmony when you give it to her.And you should also consider her personality or interest, so, you can have a little assurance that she will love it.

A picture of you all in a handmade frame with work-related items glued to it.

What does she like crafting? I would make up a gift basket of things that she could use for her craft(s).
