filipinos... Crab Mentality?

I have answered this in that particular discussion. I do believe that your point is you rarely get an answer. Here in Mylot, I believe, you have to have an interesting topic first before you get a number of response. Mylotm is like any income-generating task. If you want to have lots of Pinoys answering your posts, try adding them as your friends. :) I do not condone crab mentality. It is something that we should not be advocating for the sake of our children. Competition is fair, if you get the kind of support/reply, it means you have a competitive edge in mylot. But in my stay here, I did not feel any competition. There are times when people DO NOT reply to my posts, but hey, we have lots of topics about the Philippines that may entail or project great responses. Do not be discouraged about the numbers of reply. Gain friends. Enjoy the experience and you will learn to appreciate mylot despite the numbers of responses. :)

Yeah... I'm a FILIPINO ALSO One of the bad attitudes that we FILIPINOS have ..... But there are other people will respond you... And MYLOT is WORLDWIDE so don't worry about other FILIPINOS not responding other FILIPINOS posts here in MYLOT.... I am not one of them and there are other FILIPINO does not having that attitude... Don't be sad Because it's in our CULTURE......

That could be it, or maybe it's because you don't have very many people (Filipino as well as others) on your friends list. Try adding more people to your list that have similar interests as you and see what happens. I'm not here to compete with others. With being on dial-up and whatnot, I'm only able to participate in a few discussions a day (if that). So I cannot respond to everyones discussions, no matter how hard I try.

crab mentality really is a very ugly attitude of filipino peoples but i can say not all of us are like that. let us just prove to others that we can help each other even if only here in mylot. let us support each other and not pull those who are on top of this game.

oh really? even in mylot? I'm a Filipino but I support other Filipino as well. Well, even in Television I can see crab mentality. Do you watch Wheel of Fortune (Phil. Version)? I hate watching it cause other contestants are putting down other contestant which is ugly in T.V.
