how can you say you've finally moved on?

for me.. its when you saw each other and everything's quite normal.. nothing special.. no racing of heatbeat, no blushing of cheeks, no twinkling of eyes,no tensed movements... just contentment that you are through with the person...
and when you can genuinely be happy for him/her being with someone else he/she deserves..
and you feel blessed that you didn't end up with her/him.

i also agree...you can never say you've moved on when you cannot feel happy if the other person have someone new...

i think when you meet someone that you like and enjoy better, and you realize that other person wasnt the right person for you after all because the current person you are with is perfect for you...and you are happy the previous relationship didnt work out after all...

yeah its when you both see each other again, there's no hurt feelings.,you will happy when you see her/him with someone else.,that means you finally moved on.,

It's so easy to say that someone has finally moved on from a previous relationship but I honestly believe, because of three factors, it's not really that easy:
1) The person himself is not willing to let go of the tangible and intangible things in the past-- especially memories;
2) The people around you are not that helpful to let you move on with your new life now, creating very unfavorable circumstances for a healing heart like yours;
3) Some people just don't give second chances at all. They believe in closing doors for change and opportunity, with the thought that people just can't change.
Anyway, for me I can say i have finally moved on if I can talk about the matter freely with a neutral tone in my voice...
