When will LOST ever end?
It seems that it's going nowhere sometimes.
One day they are almost finding help, then the next day they are very LOST again.
What do you think will happen in the end of it all?

For some time I have wondered if this is one of those shows that they just want to keep going for as long as possible, so they keep adding new things to the story with no real end to work toward, like X-files. But I read in TV guide some time ago, that they have an end game in mind but I don't know if its this season or next. Right now I'm thinking its gotta be next. All I can say, is if someone wakes up and this was all someone's dream, I'm gonna scream.

OK, I should have put a "LOL" after that. I won't really scream, but just an "oh brother" thing. Like couldn't they think of something better than that? That being said, and I'll date myself somewhat with this, but do you remember when the 2nd Bob Newhart series ended with it being all a dream by his character in his first series? No one saw that comin' and it was so funny. If you're too young or don't watch Nick-at-night reruns, you won't know what I'm talking about, but it was hilarious.

lost will eventually end in 2010 with its 6th season - the zombie season - (jk) and the season will be 16 episodes, while the 5th will be 17 episodes. The producers have explained what is happening in the show and where LOST is going . They even said what we would be expecting for season 5 and 6. (THE FOLLOWING MAY BE SPOILERISH...)
Ex producer Damon said something like : season 4 is about the fact that they get off the island , season 5 is about Getting back, and season 6 is about why and what happens when they get back. I think all lost fans need to listen to the podcasts more in order to know more what is happening in the show

and the writers don't just make up the story as they go.. The story for season 4 was already planned out (in general) by season 3, according to what they have said. They arlready have planned what they want to do for the last 2 seasons.. anyways, I think the producers are really smart and creative and I love the show no matter where it goes ( I'm a loyal watcher lol) and Im really looking foward to the last 2 years.

TWO more seasons?!? You mean not counting the one that's just ending? Ok, then, we still have a lot of show to go. I gotta hand it to these guys, each week you feel like their getting close to the answers, but they just keep stringing it out - we're such suckers LOL.

I'm confused about this thing too...
Tha flash forward in 3x22 (where Jack is saying he wants to go back) will be the end or they'll end up going back on the island and live happily ever after? :P
I don't think in the end they will stay on the island. I guess in the last season they're going to tell us the truth that will be a shock. Everything they do is to make us wonder everytime something new and they wouldn't reveal so easily something so important like Jack eventually saying taht he wants to go back to the island.

Yes I heard that we only have a couple more seasons left to sit and be confused but yet enjoy this show to such an extreme. I at one time wondered if the writers write the story as they go along but not know where it will end up. But I doubt it very much. I don't want this show to end but at the same time you want answers.
