The earthquake disaster is very serious and sad. Many people have tried to help by all means. Although money can't bring the dead back to life. It can't repair broken families. It can't return things to be back. Money does very little... but it does show how people feel towards the living. We really appreciate to your help and donation.
If you still want to help the people who suffer in the earthquake disaster, here it's the Chinese Red Cross website http://202.108.59.10/english/index.htm
Many thanks!

Hummm! Let me think! No I would not send money to an ip address. You know to all Americans you can send your money to the American Red Cross and request that the money gose to help for the earthquake. I just have a problem with something that is as large as "Chinese Red Cross" would have a site with only an ip rather then a domain. I am not saying to you not to give to help people of the earthquake but at the same time I am saying to give it to someone that you know. Sorry, once bitten twice shy.

OK, you can also check http://www.redcross.org.cn/english/index.htm and it's the same. I went to the bank in person to T/T the donation. And the bank staff double checked the account number for me and made sure this money would send to Chinese Red Cross directly.
And by the way, I don't have any friends or relatives and I don't know anybody in Sichuan. I can't do much for this disaster, except for donating money three times.

I don't suspect it very much. Actually I had waited for a very long time to see the page loaded. And at that time I know it's reliable because many people login in this website and therefore its sever is so busy all the time.
When this page loaded, I immediately copied the bank account so that I could go to the bank to send my money right away. As I said above, the bank account staff double checked the account number and made sure it's really sent to Chinese Red Cross.

Now I have an easer time with the site, but I still think the best thing is that people should give to the Red Cross in your own area and request the finds be sent to China as alot of American Red Cross workers have gone to China to help out. Just make sure you know who you are sending to. Besides I just did a whois on the domain and like 6 differend domains come up for the site. And the site expires 9/22/2008. Sorry, just the way I feel.

In England our hearts go out to all the people who are suffering. We have seen TV news reports but nothing can tell us ho it really feels to have lost loved ones, particularly the children in all those schools which collapsed.
Yesterday I saw how the Chinese communities in Britain are organizing aid for their relatives back home.
