First day of job

Ya of course i remember. My first job is very far from KTM station. I have to walk around 20mins to reach my office! But i am grateful tat i found a job cause i was jobless for almost 6 months when i graduate!

Hi. with my first job, My first day was a very busy one. I mean, the person i replaced had resigned without much notice. So it was like swimming and paddling in unfamiliar waters... LOL...and praying I won't drown. i had to find out so many things for myself since i wasn't trained unlike the norm, which is that one would get a month's worth of training and turnover so that one will be able to ease into the job. i was so thankful that i was able to survived it. made me a stronger person through all of it. now, i am on my second job and i really eased into well. i feel i haven't even transitioned and fitted right in immediately. how about yours?

I hated the first day on my new job...I was in training session and I hate just sitting there listening 2 the other person teach u things It's like ugh can I just do something? My job it takes 3 months 2 train b4 ur on ur own..Sucks! But I love my job now tho!

My first job was a clerk. The first job taken me felt exciting. In the first day I listened care about the work from my boss.I had nervous to began to work. So the boss saw me that said:"Don't care about anything, believe you can do it best!" After she said that, I felt the job was so easy and did it best! The other employee were also very nice for me. I had a good day in that.

I've had many jobs but here's a good first day dork story. I was a student at a community college and was finally hired as a part time computer tech in the big computer lab so I was really pumped. One of our functions was to answer the phone at the front desk and there was a list of names and extensions next to the phone. Someone called and asked for John Smith (name changed to protect the innocent). I didn't see his name on the list so I told the caller that they must have the wrong extension, that there was no John Smith here. A few minutes later a very nicely dressed man came out of one of the offices at the other end of the lab and introduced himself to me. He was John Smith and he was the Director of Technology Services...my bosses boss. My face was red all day.
