I prefer silver, definitely. In my early years I wore a lot of gold jewelery, but when I entered into my teens I decided I hated the colour and it's been sterling silver for me every since. I would wear white gold though, if it were cheaper ;)

I prefer Gold or platinum, but my eyeglass frames are made of titanium, and they are also nice. There is just nothing nicer than the warm glow of pure gold, however. It is simply yummy!
Silver is less expensive, and very pretty, but too high-maintenance for me.

Ah, but now that you mention it Transdisc, I do believe that as an edible ornament silver is not only more affordable but also more delicious. A friend did make me the gift of a few sheets of food-grade silver, which in his culture is commonly used for decorating cookies and cakes and that sort of thing, so of course I tried it. Is it not true that silver has better antibacterial properties when ingested, too? I could be wrong about that.

i prefer gold, white gold. but they are more expensive and hard to come by. so i settle for silver and yellow gold. i only wear ring for metal jewelry, i don't use bracelet, necklace or earring. a plastic wristwatch and that's it. metals feel heavy..

I like both really. My favorite is white gold. I think it makes beautiful jewelry. My second favorite is silver and then gold.

I like gold than silver.and when earings i prefer the round ones,i have them all sizes.Rings with white stones I don't care if they are 9, 18, 24 carrats as long as they are gold.like goldwatches too..

I like silver jewelry better than gold. But if I see a gold piece that catches my eye, I'll buy it. I think you can wear silver jewelry with anything.

I prefer silver over gold as gold when worn in excess looks overpowering on me. When I use too much gold jewelry, I just look so yellow... And I also think that silver compliments my undertone...When i opt for a more expensive jewelry over silver, I buy white gold rather than gold... :)

For me i love gold, i have gold loop earings, 4 in one ear and 3 in the other, gold chain with cross on it and enough gold rings for every finger, even my thumbs...lol but dont wear on thumbs. i have always like gold, even when i was younger. ive had a few silver rings but they usually dont stay around :)

In fact, I like both silver and gold when they are made into jeweleries, but if I had to choose one, then I would certainly choose gold ones as a piece of gold jewelery is much more valuable than a silver one. By the way, I do not wear any jewelery, including gold ring, as I do not feel comfortable with something extra around my finger or somewhere else on me. hehe.
