do you lock your doors?

I've always locked my doors. I've lived in dangerous areas, and the safest of areas. Doesn't matter, the doors are getting locked. I stayed at my late grandmother's house when I was ten, and I don't know why, but I got up one night to check the lock on the front door. It was not locked. She lived way out in the country, in a very small community, and she never locked anything. And truthfully, they never did have any crimes. I didn't care though. I locked her front door, and every night after it while I stayed there.

yes definitely i do lock my doors before going to sleep and i would advise all others to do it too!!

Hi Sweets I do not lock my doors Can not even remember where my keys might be... I don't think a robber would fair well in my home anyway! oxoxoxoxxoxoxo

We lock all the door to the house when we go to bed. I don't lock my car all the time but their is nothing in it to steal. I guess someone could always hot wire it and steal it but my sons window is near where my car parks so he would hear someone out there. I used to live in a town of about 500 people with my parents and they never locked the doors unless someone had escpaed from jail recently.

Hi cher. Yes, we do. I live in a big town and need to lock all the doors and vehicles too. It is a problem with big cities lol.

well.., here in our country most of the houses are built with tall walls in their main gate and possibly have security guard to secure it's surrounding and belonging especially at night time....] i donno why is it that many people here on their own country don't trust any body's neighbor nor countrymen ....here everything must be locked not just doors but everything to make it secure...to anyone... *jam* -live life- keep it simple..***

Here in the Philippines, all people (i guess) lock their doors and not only that, if they have gates, the put padlocks on it too. There are plenty of gangs and robbers here that they are not even scared to attack during daytime. I haven't watch the primetime news without any robbery or killings. I'm not saying that most people here are bad. There are people who badly needs the money that's why they do it. In my home, the gates are always locked and also the front and back door. At night I personally check all doors nd gates before turning in. I don't want to wake up in the middle of the night because some robbers wanting to crash my house. Nowadays, you can't tell which people are really good..
