Do you tense at the first time?

Today,i step to the platform to make a lecture about the feeling of the earthquake in english.I am very tense at that time.Now my leg is shaking.My face turn red.I can't express what i am feeling now.I am excited.
This time is my first time to speak english in front of so many person.I want to speak english with classmates and foreigners.but i have no oppurtunity.I eager to speak english.
Do you tense when you first do the thing at the first time which you love so much?
