Yeah, XD. Kind of reminds me of the time a while ago my friend thought the door was a push door, not a pull door, and got a blanket and wrapped it around her shoulders like a cape, ran towards the door and yelled SUPAHMANN!! only to smack into the door and fall backwards. xD

Actually the pull side of the door is to avoid causing knocking the person on the push side of the door. I did push the door ignorantly instead of pulling as instructed. Luckily there was no one on the other side of the door. I think there will be lesser problems for glass door as we could see the other side clearly. Anyway I think it is polite to be cautious when opening a door in the public.

I've done it more than once and slways hope that no one else noticed. Sometimes I have looked up to see which side the door opens by looking at the spring on the top so I don't try to open it the wrong way.

Yes, I have and then I just knew that everyone in back of me saw me doing it and thought "What a moron!" But, you sometimes the door still opens even if you do push instead of pulling. Go figure - I guess they dummy proof them!

Read the door signs - door signs to push or pull
Hey coolcarsinc, It has happened to me before. I never really find myself doing this but just the other day when I was walking out of a store I pulled a push door from inside cause I wasn't actually looking. I was halfway turned talking to my friend. I still felt embarrased when it happened.

I am laughing out loud as I type this as I think this is so so very funny. I don't know one person who has not done this at one time or another! I am always doing it, the place where I always do it is in MacDonalds, I am always getting it wrong there!! It is very annoying at times when it happens, I do look and read the signs but sometimes the messages don't read right in my brain!! I wonder waht other things you can think of that we all get wrong sometimes

I have pushed plenty of doors that says pull and conveniently, all those doors are two way that can either be pushed or pulled to open. Some of the awkward situations would be that the door is oddly installed, since we always see the door knob on the right, it should often imply that we're suppose to push it forward to open and when the door knob is on the left, we have to pull it open. There are doors that I have encountered that I wasn't able to open since I was pushing the usual way but the door wasn't typically installed in such a manner

I plead guilty your honor. I believe I have done this several times. Maybe because there are doors that says pull but can actually be opened when you push it. Or, there are doors that says push but can be opened when you pull it. Of course, that is not my excuse. It's what I have really experienced several times.

lol, Yeah I do it all the same, I think there are tons of people out there that have done it. I am that kind that dont think much while walking and when I was in another high school, I went there for 2 years and still dont remember which is push and whish is pull. That's a little embarrasing when some classmates see it

Yeah I did before and still do if I forget. There's this bookshop in town called TanMark the door says pull (to open it) but I would forget and pushed it and it goes "poom". I think maybe when they fixed the door they fixed it wrongly...LOL I mean the normal way to enter would be push and exite would be pull. But this bookshop is the other way round. So far I hae only come across this shop.

Yes...I'm so stupid sometimes and I'll just laugh at myself thus whenever I read the word push I try to figure out first what I must do coz It seems that I don't know how to follow sometimes...lol...
