Is your name a combination of your father's name and mother's name?

Mine is not,my grandpa says if the name is a combination of father's and mother's name ,he is very lucky and get good success in all the fields. How do you feel?Lets have a good discussion.

Not my name but my neices... My sisters name is Lynn Her ex husbands is Edwin so their daughers name is Edlynn then my sisters current husbands name is Chris and their daughters name is Claralyn I think it's pretty cool My name is Jenny and my bf name is Chad I don't think their is a combo for our names!
