Do you work? Do you have a full time job? A part time job? Are you a mom or dad who gets to work 24 hours a day out of the home AND in the home???
I work a full time 8 - 4 job and go home to my kids. So technaclly I work 24 hours a day because as you know, "mom" is never off "call".
Do you feel like work ever stops???

I'm a mother of three & used to commute 1 hour to work (both going & coming), and worked a regular 8 hour day 7am - 3:30. It was a long day. Now I'm a stay at home mom, working from home & w/ three small children (none yet in school), my days are even longer!! And with an infant they never stop, because he doesn not yet sleep through the night. However, it was my choice to stay & I do enjoy my days! I felt like I was "missing out" when I had to put them in childcare all day!

I totally agree it is better for kids if a parent can stay home with them. Our situation allows us the best of both worlds. As I work 8 to 4 my husband works 3 to 11. Our daughter is with grandma for about 2 hours a day but at least she isn't in day care. She is either with daddy, mommy, or grandma. Being able to provide the extras in life because of the second income is nice and still have her with a parent. It doens't allow my huasband and I much time but hey it makes for a great marriage... no time to argue and when we do see each other its with much appreciation. We don't take each other for granted at all.

tech speaking I bill a min of 212 hours every two weeks, but of that two weeks im actually only home a total of 48 hours, and then i still have to be able to be reached by cell. I get 8 hours of sleep time a day but bill if for any reason i have to get up, if i do not get 4 hours uninterupted time i get paid for whole 8 hours.

Well for sure moms do not take a break. Particularly for moms who have to manage both indoor and outdoor office works. For me, I have a full time job besides I spend a lot of time online as this is my part time engagement. If you ask for working hours it obviously varies a lot. I usually start at 8.00am in the morning and continue working up to 12.00am, and even up to 1.00 am midnight.
I share more work load because I have plan to convert my part time passion to a full time profession!

I can see you are a very good "mom" ! And, busy all the time.
I work about 15 hours a day. My Company work 8 hrs a day. And again , when I get back home , I continue working on my own private business. You can say I am a workoholic ! I enjoy keeping busy, just like you too !
Have a nice day.

Well I try to be a good mom. Its hard working and being a mom but I like to provide those extras in life. And working allows me to one pay the bills ontime and two have a little extra. My husband works too but its just not enough with one income.

I'm a stay at home dad, I work when they get up and I work late after they've gone to bed. I've worked in the corporate world and I felt like I was working all the time.

Good for you!! I wish I or my husband could stay home our finances just don't allow it at this time. I truly think that staying at home is a harder job then atcually getting up and going out of the house to work every day but staying at home is MUCH more rewarding! And it is time WELL invested!

My job is offically 8:30-4:30 and i dont often leave for lunch (ok so i've left for lunch 6 times in 3 years) I'll run out to buy some if i forget but I take about 5 min to do that.
Often i will bring work home so I can get caught up or just for some extra hours to be banked for when i want a longer vacation or am sick.
When i go home i tend to work on my garden or go horseback riding or just relax.

I feel like even when I am sleeping I am working - There is at least 1 intruption at night for me. Its either my kids or my husband is on call and his phone rings. Its always some thing. I stayed at home for a while and although its hard to juggle working out side the home I think I like it better. I love my kids but they are in school or at grandmas during the day so why stay home. I like going to work because it keeps me fresh and I know I appreciate my kids more as they do me when we do see each other.
