I like to drink iced tea and lemonade in the summer. It really quenches my thirst. Which do you prefer? I also use an ice cube tray to make tea or lemonade ice cubes. When the cubes melt in the drink, the drink isn't watered down. Have you ever done this?

No, don't do this since we have an automatic ice maker in the refrigerator. I used to do this in our old house though. Even now and then I'd get fancy and make flavored ice cubes to add to the tea - like marashino cherry juice left over, kool aid, juice. I'd forgotten about doing this. I don't even put ice cubes in for this very reason. I really hate watered down drinks too.

When it begins to get real hot I drink more tea and that's when I'll make the flavored cubes. Thanks for responding.

I like lemonade best. I have made different kinds of ice cubes so as not to water down my drink or just to flavor my water. Take care

I love to drink iced tea in the summer also. I like to make sun tea sometimes too. I also love to drink some lemonade also. I just use ice out of my ice maker that is built in my refrigerator. I used to use cubed trays before though. I have never tried to use lemon cubes. I will have to try that some time.

If you drink alot of tea, try making iced tea cubes. Your drink will never taste watered down. You can add more flavored cubes as the first ones melt. Keeps your drink so refreshed. Thanks for responding.

I forgot all about freezing lemonade or juice in ice cube trays for my iced tea. I love tea in any weather, hot or iced but gotta have my lemon and honey in it as well. I ran out of honey a few times and refused to make any tea till I was able to get more. lol

I love honey on toast but don't like it in tea. Have tried it a few times when making hot tea. I love sweets so am really surprised I can't add it to a hot drink. Thanks for responding.

I like Capri Sun, perferrably the tropical punch. Though I like it year around, not just for the summertime. I started drinking them again a few years ago and I just can't stop. I think I'm addicted! LOL

Capri Sun is good but I prefer lemonade. I know what you mean about being addicted. I am really addicted to coffee in the morning. Thanks for responding.

i am happy that you like lemonade. Maybe you should also try our bottled Jamaican Lemonade. All you need to do is add ice cubes and water and it serves for a long time. It is also refreshing and is a drink that the average Jamaican loves. I ave done the ice tray too and my daughter actually loves it and tries different things with it.

I don't like watered down anything either. It's fun to fill the ice cube tray with the flavor of drink you are drinking to make it colder. Hope you are doing well and thanks for responding, carolbee

I am not an ice tea drinker but do love lemonade. I have done this before whenever I made a big punch bowl of beverage for an open house celebration or a shower. It really is a good idea as your punch etc. doesn't get watered down like you said.

I saw this in a restaurant once upon a time and loved the idea. I drink more lemonade in the evening because sometimes the tea will keep me awake. Thanks for responding.

It's hard to say which one of them are the best out of the two of them. I like Ice tea and lemonade so I can't really say which is the best. I know when it's hot they are both good and really quinch your thurst.

I have never tried iced tea! I prefer lemonade any time of the year but yes in summer use ice cubes either that or I just have iced water. Although a nice hot cuppa never goes amiss even in the summer!

I've never tried that but it's really easy to make little popcicles ( Is that spelled correctly?) using the ice cube tray and foil. You just put whatever flavored juice inside put foil over the tray and poke hole through the foil to make the handles. Easy and great for kids.

I've made popsickles using this method for our kids when they were younger. It was fun. Thanks for responding.
