What are the + and - for?

just wondering what the + and - are for here on mylot? am I supposed to use it when I like what someone one says or something? Ive never used it but I always see it.

It 's like giving a thumbs up or thumbs down. Just a quick way to say it's a good discussion or a not so good. The ! is to report someone if they are doing something you think they shouldn't be doing.

when you want to rate positively or negatively a discussion or response you can push the + or - placed near the discussions or responses in this way you mark up a response or discussions or mark down if this is negative for you!!it works like that..
