Some parents let their kids handle money when they already are in grade school, as soon as they can identify the value of it.
Other parents let their kids handle money when they are already in Middle school. As for me, as far as I can remember, I was given chance to handle money when I was in 4rth Grade. Not a big amount but just a little for me to keep or spend.
Most kids don't know how to save their money. All they know is spend, buy anything they like to have.
do you have an idea of what is the right age for kids to be entrusted with money?
Nice to hear from parents who had this experience or kids too.

I think any parent is the best person to decide the best possible age to handle money. The right age depends on a lot of factors like the kid's maturity level, his growing environment and of course his social contacts. And i think the parents are the best persons to know and control all this factors that decide the future of the kid. Saying this, i think parents should let their kids handle money at an early age so that they have enough time to learn the value of it. It will difficult at first when kids will have absolutely no idea how to save. But as they grow up and learn more and more about how to handle finances it will become much easier for them when they start earning for themselves. I think 5th or 6th grade will be a right age.

you're right. I think that age is perfectly right for kids to handle money but parents should teach their children how to spend wisely and also how to save money. Most kids, would spend their money for food and toys. But if they are guided accordingly, they would be able to use their money the right way.
Thanks for sharing.
