do you like your name?

i believe that names given to us by our parents should be welcomed most.and because of that we should be happy with it no matter what because this is the first thing that we own - our name

I do not like my name as it is too common (Jennifer). I have shortened it to Jen to give it some difference, but it was soo annoying in school to have to pick between Jennifer, Jen, and Jenny to answer to because there would be 3 Jennifers in the room. I wish my parents could have been a little more original. :\
