I often call my partner babe unless of course I am cranky with him, then I call him by his name, lol. He also calls me babe alot too. I still remember the first time he started calling me babe it made me feel special as that was when I knew he was starting to fall in love with me.
So what little pet names does your partner/wife/husband call you? Also what pet names do you call them? I am sure there are some funny ones out here? Interested to here what you all have to say. THree thumbs up, for the most unique pet name, lol.

I do not have any pet names for my other half, I have never been a sloppy custard when it comes to love and romance!!
He on the other hand always calls me duck, duckie, or duckie poos. If I do not answer to any of them then he refers to me by my first name but just shortens it.

That is cute, duckie. Have not heard anyone call someone duckie before. Does that mean you quack alot, lol. Sloppy custard, that is hilarious, where did you get that saying from, lol?

That is sweet, littleowl, it is good that he admitted that when he calls someone kid that means he loves you. That's exactly what I thought when simon started calling me babe, I knew he was falling for me, lol. I like the pet name kid, that is different.

I call her Kimchi and she calls me Sparkle. I called her Kimchi because she loves spicy foods a lot and since I'm half Japanese I used to enjoy that sort of food when I was still in Japan. It may be a cliche but she's the spice of my life. She called me Sparkle because one night she sent me a survey message and I chose stars plus the first time we ever sang together it was night time and the lyrics of the song we were singing contained the word stars. She also told me that I was like a star who brightens up her life. Because of this some of the stuffed toys I bought for her, she bought for me or we bought together are named: sparkie, kimkle, sparkim, kimhie, etc.

Clearly this is not going to win the award, but we call each other Boo Boo and Babe, not particular difference between the two.
This however has a chance of being the top one. With my ex, I knew I needed to get out of the relationship, but I had put myself in a situation where I had no money, and no where to go, so I stayed until I had both of those ready to go. My nickname for him after I knew I was going to move out(of my own apartment, mind you, he refused to leave and I couldn't evict him) was D**kweed. I know, not very loving, but loving is not something I would use to describe that period of my life.

As long as I can remember hubby has called me kitten and I call him bear ('cause he is my teddy-bear haha), weird aye how they just stick. Pretty weird when he does call me by my full name. The pet names won't win an award but they are special to us.Have a g8 day
