it really, really pisses me off...there are these people, from out of town, currently staying with us as guests in our house and they (in my opinion) have become quite annoyng...they keep on going "in cebu (that's where they are from, it's a place in the philippines) we have this.." or "in cebu we do things like this.." or even "it's waay better in cebu 'cause..." i mean...sometimes i just feel like saying "well guess what? you guys are not in cebu right now so deal with it!)..i get it...they are proud of their city and of where they live in, but jeez, everytime they talk it seems as if they are trying to tell us that our city is not even worth appreciating for what it really is.

Yeah that pretty aggravating isn't it? But you know what? There are people like that everywhere. They thrive on making other people feel bad, and I wonder sometimes do they even know they are doing it? Let it go, they will be leaving soon right? It is not worth getting upset about.

Hi there Camille!
Yeah, that can be annoying sometimes. Maybe it's just their nature. It's really hard sometimes when people just keep on bragging and not stopping to appreciate what they currently have.
People are different from one another and maybe they don't mean to annoy you but they do so maybe you can try to understand them since you're the one who can.
Hope everything will be okay.

i guess you're right... i mean, i should maybe (at the very least) try to understand them...at least there'd be a single person who'd attempt to understand their naturally self centered attitudes...hehe...thanks a lot for the advice...
