I hate those annoying Windows style banner ads! They're so tricky.

Have you ever clicked on a banner that looked like a legitimate Windows message from your computer? When I was brand new on the Internet, almost four years ago, I did that. That was the last time. After I got through battling a bad spyware infection, I promised myself, I'd never fall for it again. Has that ever happened to you? Have you ever clicked on something like a "Close window" box or "Download complete" box and it turned out to be a banner that was selling something? What's your experience with tricky Internet marketers?
