It wasn't my fault but i still blame myself.
It happened this morning. I was going into the car when i forgot to close the front door. My mom was driving out of the driveway when i heard my kitten cry..... Mom stopped the car, but it was too late. She drove over my princesses stomach. She's dead, princess is dead and it all my fault.
If only i had closed the front door she would've never run out, into the driveway. I really loved my kitten, she used to sleep on my bed all the time, and cheer me up when i was down. Oh talking about it just makes me feel worst. Have you ever lost a pet before? Did it really pain you?

Oh hun I'm so sorry! Don't blame yourself though. that will just make it worse! It's not your fault, you didn't leave to door open on purpose. Accidents happen, they are incredibly sad, but they happen. I really am truly sorry! It sucks to lose a pet. My mom "killed" my little Yorkie puppy. She let her out in the back yard and wasnt watching her, my puppy fell into our pool and drowned. Sad story but everything happens for a reason and for me my mom got me a little maltese puppy that turned out to be the best dog i have ever owned. Take time to grieve and then when your ready to love a pet again there are thousands of kittens that need homes in the shelters. I'm sure any one them would love to go home with you!

Thanks a lot, I'll try to stop blaming myself. But it's really hard not to. I don't have my princess to cuddle up with tonight. And sorry about your pet also.

jessiebee I am so sorry about your precious kitten. forgive
yourself.you did not mean to forget the door.Accidents
happen and its indeed tragic. I too had a kitten that was
run over and it really hurt too. so I had to take it one
day at a time, the only way I could handle it.

jessiebee, I know you are hurting but you have to understand that, yes you did leave the door open but you did not do it on purpose. You made a mistake. It's sad but true. Now I want to tell you about a place called The Rainbow Bridge. It's where the animals we have ever had wait for us so when our time come to go to heaven they will be there to take us to St. Peter. While they wait for us they play all day and are very, very happy. So even though you are sad now just remember that your kitten is waiting for you to come to her when you are all grown up and ready to go to heaven. And all the animals you will have in your life from now on will also be waiting

I'm so very sorry. You can't blame yourself, sweety. You didn't know she would run out. Accidents happen. I know that time will help you to remember all the good times you had with your sweet kitten and lessen your pain. It is very hard to lose a pet and takes time to grieve. Again, I'm so sorry. I've lost many cats and I know how hard it is. Each of them has sent me another to help heal my heart.

When I was in 9th grade I had a parrot, she was my best friend.
She had her wings clipped when I got her and would fly down onto the floor so we would be very careful and were trying to train her not to do so.
My little brother decided it would be funny to steal some money from me and went off running through the house and I chased him to get it back.
I stepped on her. I heard her bones crush under my feet.
I don't think I'll ever get over it. It's been like 7 years and I still cry when I see her breed of parrot in the pet store.

Sorry for you, I can really feel your pain. It also happened to me. one month ago, I bought a kitten in a pet market. She was so pretty and lovely, unfortunately she did not look very healthy. she ate very little and slept almost all day. I was so worried then I bought the most expensive kitten food for her. she seemed enjoying the food but not too much. she liked to stay with me,sleeping on my shoes when i was siting in front of the computer. she was quiet most of the time. occasionally she looked up at me with her talking eyes as if she was going to tell me something. I was too careless, before i felt she was really sick and decided to take her to the vet. and she could not stand properly. in a very short time, she left us forever. Ever since I keep blaming myself, did i really take good care of her?
