Diamonds or Pearls?

As we all know the saying "Diamonds are a girls best friend" But, is it your best friend. I like pearls but I must say diamonds are on top of my list. I like the sparkle. Heck, I like any sparkle. I also like the different cuts that diamonds have. I guess the saying is right in my book "Diamonds are a girls best friend"Who's yours?

I prefer sapphires or Blue topaz over diamonds and pearls any day. If i had to choose between just those two I'd choose pearls, They just seem much more attractive and a bit classier to me. Diamonds can get so huge and gaudy.
