Whats happening to good Aussie nature, when I walk down the street everyone looks the other way, when I say "Hi" to people in my own appartment block, most people put their head down and keep on walking. Are we no longer the friendly easy going people we used to be? Im not a scary kind of person I walk along with my 3 year old son and I don't pose an obvious threat. People are getting ruder and its totaly un-Australian!

I know what you mean claire, I live in Melbourne and I find the same thing happens to me. I tried to get on a tram with my almost six month old son in a pram the other week, and do you think one person even offered to help me lug that pram up the tram steps? Talk about unaustralian, its almost bloody inhuman in my opinion...
