Boeing Lays Off 750

Boeing will lay off 750 Southern California workers due to the loss of a lucrative contract. This is very sad to hear. In a time when the prices of everything needed for survival is skyrocketing, so many people are being laid off.
I wish that there was something that I could say or do to make things easier for them. Some of them will be facing one of the roughest times in their lives. I am hoping that each one of them will recover from this blow quickly.

That doesn't sound good at all. 750 workers is a lot and I bet most of them might have a hard time finding another job also. This is sad news.

This is really hard on the workers of the Boeing company. With the kind of economy we have today, being laid off from work is a big blow especially if you don't have an emergency cash saved. As secured as we want our selves to be with our jobs, we can't be anymore because of the continuous downfall of the industries around us. If they are loosing money, they have no choice but to cut back on the most expensive part of their operation- the wages of the workers. I guess, the only one making money right now is the OIL INDUSTRY.
