I came across this website today and thought - oh what the h*ll, let's mess with some minds! Maybe I'll regain my crown? ROFL
Here's the poem most of us will recognize:
"MONDAY'S CHILD
Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go;
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child works hard for a living;
But the child that is born on the Sabbath-day
Is bonny and blithe and good and gay"

That's interesting. I think yours does fit as long as your not talking about your soon to be ex...LOL!!!
I was born on a Tuesday. I guess it could be fitting since I was a ballerina practically my entire life. Pretty weird.

You are number one! I don't care what anybody says! I am Wednesday's child! I am full of woe! I was born at seven in the morning! I like to use futureminders.com as it goes by where you were born, and what time, and so far has been more of a guide than a prediction of events to come!

My mother told me I was born on a Wednesday. I've always considered myself a Wednesday's child. But this thing, and another one too, tells me I was born on a Thursday. I guess I DO have far to go. I hate this. How can I be a Thursday's child when I'm supposed to be a Wednesday's child? The last time I came across this, it put me in a bit of an uproar and I'm finding that the same thing is occurring again. I think I'm going to have to revisit this again. I can't deal with it right now.

That's not quite what I meant - and my apologies for giving that impression. I guess I was caught up in the rhythm of giving responses and didn't make my stupid humor clear in it's meaning.
You take all the time you want about going back to work.
Just don't make it too soon, cause I've just got skype working for me and I'd have to give up my threesomes if you weren't available! LOL

Actually, I am thinking about it, but I can only go one day at a time right now. You are probably right though. I suspect that many on here do think that I'm work shy and am hiding behind my illness. I don't think that I am. Heck I don't know.

Thanks my friend, I found out that I was born Friday so that makes me a Friday's child. And since we're the same, I guess it fits you as well..
I think it's true in a way, I am loving and giving. I never thought of something in-return, as long as I am happy to what I am doing..

Well spark I didn't go to the site as I KNOW I was born on a Saturday! Hmm works hard for a living - I can barely walk these days! lol Niamh was born on a Wednesday and she is full of joy (most of the time) and Niall was born on a Thursday and has gone far for one so young already! lol My other half was born on a Saturday too and I know he worked hard last night - he got paid for sitting in they gym for 3 hours watching football on the tv - mind you so were half his shift! lol I would say that yours though my Darling is spot on! xxx

I am Thursday child. While my life has been busy and full I am not sure if I have gone very far. In terms of distance I haven't I still in my childhood town, about a 15 min bike ride away from my parents house!
From what I have seen of you here I think that Friday is very fitting for you.
My eldest is a Tuesday's child and my youngest a Sabbath. She certainly lives up to being bonny, blithely, happy, and gay

I was born on a Sunday. I don't know if it fits me though. My mom doesn't think I'm a bonny lass. As to being good, I have a quick temper so maybe I don't qualify. This too might make me less of a gay person. One thing for sure is that I am quite carefree.

If you're carefree, you're gay (as in happy!) and as for being bonny - that's a rather sujective judgement. Bonny or being beautiful comes from inside and so I'd you're very bonny indeed. Welcome to mylot mimm.

Im a monday child... Im not quite sure if it suits me though.. lol ill have to ask someone...
my husband is a tuesday child and LOL shh dont tell him i said so but nope that doesnt fit him at all!! LOL
my oldest daughter is a thursday child and consiering shes only 6 yea id say that fit her right.
And my youngest are thursday children as well and thats fair enough to considering there not even 6 months yet.. lol

Geez, I am neither familiar with this poem nor do I think there is any truth.
Each person is unique and the day he or she is born is only one of the many "attributes" the person might have.
If you look at the poems again, you will see that 3 out of 7 are bad indicators. Like half.
If you happen to be born on a "good" day, you might rejoice. What if you are supposedly born on a "bad" day? Whine in misery and moan forever and ever?
In case no one notices, about half according to the poem will be "sad" people. That's close to a 50-50 (if they were 8 days in a week, I will bet a dime that 4 will be bad and 4 will be good)... as good as not saying anything.

Back in it's day EVERYONE was woeful and pessimistic.
Nowadays we can laugh at this stuff, but in its day it was taken quite seriously.
I believe it completely however, because I was born on Friday and everyone says it suits me, so it MUSt be true! ROFL

Although I do not agree with all the descriptions of children born on some days, especially Wednesday, as I have many happy, wonderful and blissful people in my life who were born on Wednesday, but yours fits you well.
I see that we share the birth day of the week. I too was born on Friday morning just the time when sun was rising. My sign is also sun.

spark, I wasn't surprised about you either. When I read days' descriptions of children, my first thoughts were that you would be either Monday or Friday, not that I don't see other qualities in you. Those were my first thoughts and I was right, well at least 50%.

does not describe me at all. I am just naturally
a tad clumsy but i do wish that I was full of grace
