This is my tulip bed from this year. I took the photo some weeks ago and just got up to posting it.
This is an assortment of Frittilaria, Tulips and Daffodils. Some of the Tulips and Daffodils have already lost their flowers but they were early bloomers.
The collection keeps growing each year. I've had the 'Queen of the Night' which are the black ones, the longest. They also bloom last. I am planning on filling the entire bed with spring bulbs after some flower bed renovation this year.
So I hope its not too late for Tulips.

It may be late but they are most welcome. I wish I had some more tulips bloom at this time. Unfortunately they have all withered. They bloomed early, well I think just in time. And the Queen of the night is the best one I supposed. So far we only got 2 types, the Queen of the Night and the red one. I want to collect other colours as well.

If you keep an eye out for them you can find good deals on tulips when they go on sale. I have got a lot that way.
The yellow frittalaria was a find at Kmart. It is behind the 2 yellow tulips in the photo. They are expensive. It was on sale for 75% off. $2 is a steal for one of them. The bulb looks like a big onion and they smell like them too.

Never too late to plant more. Unless of course the ground has already froze up. I replant new flowers etc late fall or very early spring. of course if you replant tuplis now they won't flower unless they already have a flower on them.
Lovely flower bed too. Thanks.
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~
