ok. my suggestion is, try to help that boy to get some good status financially. mean time try to convince your parents. if your parents see the boy working hard, they wont say no.

I believe parents are happy to see their children happy. May be your parents are scared to let you go or be worried about your future with this boy.
Let them know how happy you will be with him and show them the brighter side of your relationship to convince them that you are doing the right thing and this is what makes you happy.
Money should not come in the way.

I don't think money has anything to do with love, if someone really loves someone absolutely nothing else matters, life might be a little harder but one would be happier and love is an emotion that is uncontollable and all excuses are made within the brain...

You can very well, provided he also loves you in similar degrees like you; provided you have the confidence you can turn him for the better with your love and affection. I don't know what your age is -whether it is love or infactuation is to be checked first, but for that you have to wait sometime. If everything is ok, you may get married with that boy, with the blessings of your parents! Try it, so that every one of you can be happy. Love does not understand rich, or poor, black, white, purple, green, love does not differentiate. If you love him and the only problem your parents have, is that he's poor....
is he poor because of his family? Is he a hard worker? Does he love and care for you?
I'm not Chinese, but I do know that if I would be happier with someone that loves me, and not just some rich guy who finds it convenient to be with me, and so would my parents. If I ever married for money, I have no idea what my family would think of me.
If I choose Money, over love, how is that fair to him, me , or my parents?

why not!, if he is tall dark and handsome... LOL.. but actually, what your heart dictates must follow, not your head. once your heart decide, you cannot make a mistakes. for me even he is poor, as long as i can see from him the qualities i need to become my husband i will choose him to be.

Why not? As long as he is deserving. Deserving meaning he is industrious, a good man, and someone who really loves and respect not only you but also your family. It is not his sin to be born poor, but if he stays poor because he did not do anything to uplift his status in life, then that is his sin. Actually, money is not really a problem when two people are in love. As long as both of you are responsible enough to know what are your responsibilities in life.
