Who are you talking to when you think?

As I was going through my day, thinking things through, I realized I was acting like I was talking to my daughter. I mean just the silly little stuff. The words that run around in our heads all day. I called my daughter and asked her about it and guess what? She said she thinks as if she was talking to me!
Who are you talking to, or do you have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about?
It's okay to tell me I'm crazy. My doctor already told me.

I usually talk aloud to my dogs when I'm thinking but if not them, I have a clear picture of myself as I think (about 3/4 of the time) or God. As if He'd care about my measly little thoughts!

For sure, they love it when I talk to them. Sometimes Gus will make little noises in his throat as if he wants to reply!

I had a Tonkinese and he made some very strange noises. He learned how to meow so that he sounded like a bird! He used to sit in the window, stalking them in his mind making this really creepy noise. Did he think the birds would think he was one of them and fly through the window into his mouth?
How old is your talking cat?

I do this all the time. I talk as if I am talking to someone, telling them a story or something, but I am really just talking to nobody lol. Usually I am thinking of my boyfriend. I talk to my cats a lot... but I don't think that's so strange.

I thought I was crazy for aiming thoughts as though they were part of a conversation, I usually aim them at my boyfriend or my friends or online people if it is a rant to do with both my friends and boyfriend.

I am not sure, should I be happy that I am not the only crazy person or should I be scared that everyone is going crazy.

lol you are not crazy.. at least not for this. :)
When I talk inside my head it depends on what it is about. Sometimes I am talking to God or Spirit, sometimes my husband and believe it or not even sometimes my mother. It depends on what I am having that self conversation about. :)

This is so funny to me because it varies depending on what it is I am thinking about and whether or not I am upset at the time and having an imaginary fight in my head, lol!

Well for me, I am usually just really talking to myself, I guess because i have been around the house by myself for 22 years..But some times I will even talk to my cat rags.

I know exactly what you are talking about, so no worries about me thinking you've gone bonkers! I will sometimes think as if I am talking to my fiance, I usually do this before I actually start discussing something with him. It gives me the upper hand as I already know him so well, imagining what he'll say almost always helps me win whatever discussion were having. It's also just fun when your alone for the day and you are bored! Have a Great day!

I'm actually talking to myself when I think. There seems to be an inner self that I always like to ask and question about. It's also something that will keep myself up to face the challenges ahead.

When I think, I think I am talking to only myself. However, once upon a time, I used to write in the abstract, quite academic; then I changed my method, and learned to write as if I was talking to someone. It changed my style and my writings became sufferable for others:-), in fact, I wrote a bestseller, now being used to actually imagine a person or persons to write for. So maybe you are not crazy but wise.
