I tried something new at Taco Bell for Free!

I tried Taco Bell's new Fruitista drinks that they have. I had the mango one and it was excellent, except that it had quite a big of added sugar to it, I feel. But, it didn't give me any headaches like smoothies at other places. It would be great on a summer's day. It has 250 calories for the mango one and 10mg of sodium. The strawberry one has 230 calories and about 50mg sodium. They're pretty good size and are about $1.29, I think. But, you can try it for free. If you are a Mypoints member, check the coupons section for the free coupon. Or, you can go to the Taco Bell website and get one there. You do have to buy something else to get the free Fruitista.

That is a lot of calories! We did get one of those coupons, but forgot to go use it. I wonder if they have sucralose in them. It is so easy to make those kinds of drinks at home now and then we have control over what goes in it. Maybe I will check out their website and see if they list the ingredients. Thanks for the reminder!

I actually didn't think it was all that many calories because the ones at Jamba Juice that are the same size were the same amount of calories or more. I tried to find the ingredients, but they don't list them. I don't think that they have sucralose in them because I would have gotten a reaction from it.

Although I disapprove of Sucralose I've never gotten a reaction to it--what kinds of reactions do people get from that? Neotame gives me an immediate and terrible reaction. It cloys at my throat and then I get a dull headache within seconds. I never ever get headaches normally. I am so careful in checking labels but sometimes the neotame will turn up in a restaurant drink, YUCK!

I'm not aware of Neotame. But, with most artificial sweetners, I get a dull pressure headache and I just don't feel right for an hour or two.

It was actually in the coupon e-mail that I got, but I think you can still get it when you go to their coupon center. Sometimes, though, I have problems getting coupons from there. You can also get it off the Taco Bell website, but you probably won't gain points by using it.

Yeah, Taco Bell is the best Mexican place to be. Especially where high fiber stuff are offered at great prices. I should go there once in a great while. That'll cause me to break wind; farting. That is natural and I have no choice at all.

Well, I did have a Free coupon for one of those a long time ago myself, but since I do not frequent Taco Bell that often, I still have never tried one. My husband is not that big of a fan of Taco Bell, so we do not go there that often either.

I just had another one a couple of days ago with a Volcano taco. Both were good. I think they're a little expensive for Taco Bell, though.

I will have to go and try it. There is a Taco Bell not too far from me. I like Mango and strawberry also. I have not been to Taco Bell in many years. It is good that they are still increasing their menu.

Yes, I'm glad, also. I just wish they served more things with green vegetables in it. I saw there was a new taco salad that really did look like a salad, but I never got a chance to look at it very closely.

I have never tried one of those, but I bet those are good, I would probably get the mango one too as I am not a big fan of strawberry drinks. I do like strawberries, but nothing flavored like that.I know that is a little weird, but I guess we all have some strange ideas about food.

I've had both kinds and both are good, but I liked the Mango better. It actually has real fruit in it.

I have not been to Taco Bell in a few months, so I have not heard of this drink yet. I will have to check it out next time I am there. I was a manager at a Taco Bell for 2 1/2 years and I got so burned out on their food that I stopped going there for the longest time. Now I go about once every few months.

I used to audit Taco Bell for this one company as a secret shopper and for a long time, I didn't eat there afterwards. But, I can't really afford to eat at a lot of places nowadays, so I've been buying things there about once or twice a month.

OMG!!! I just discovered these yesterday!!! The mango is TO DIE FOR!! I had them leave off the strawberries, but WOWZERS!! Even tiny bits of fruit!!! Yes, a bit on the sweet side, but not so sweet that it tasted like syrup. The fruit flavor was strong and obvious - and best of all, REAL!! That WILL be my drink of choice this summer since I have decided to opt out of Dunkin Donuts' Iced coffee on principle (their having yanked Rachael Ray's commercial because a few zealots said she was supporting terrorism by wearing the scarf she had on - morons!!) Anyway, that's another discussion, isn't it. I will be back for this drink, no doubt about it. YUM!!

I think I'm going to buy a few this summer, too. It didn't give me a headache like some smoothies do.

Well, that's good that you try something really new and great for free at first. Well we know that overall prices are going up. Right? I love Taco Bell also. As well as Long John Silvers, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Chinatown, and all other great restaurants around here. Yeah, Taco Bell has lots of high fiber Mexican stuff to offer at great prices. Right? I go there once in a great while.

I'm glad I got to try it for free because I would have been unhappy paying money for it if I didn't like it.

I'm not a big Taco Bell fan but I saw their commerical the other day and it looks good. I'll have to give it a try via the Taco Bell website. Thanks for the heads up.

I am thinking about getting another one next time it's hot. I hear that Jack in the Box is putting out their own smoothies, but theirs seem to have more dairy in it and probably more fat and calories, too. I know their shakes are very high in fat and calories.

I tried one too, but I had the strawberry. I think it was scrumptious! It has less calories than many drinks, but if it has the much sodium, I have to wonder why. Thanks for the heads up about where to get coupons. I got mine in the mail.

Yes, that's what I thought about the calories. I know a lot of smoothies the same size that have way more calories than this drink.

It's pretty good, but not something I would drink everyday, just once in a while for a treat.

That's a lot of calories, but they are so darn good. Every time I eat at Taco Bell, I have to get one of the Mango fruitistas. It reminds me of something our local shake shop has called a Florida Breeze. It was just sierra mist and orange sherbet. But, that's not what it is. It has more of a carbonated taste to it. I really like the strawberries in the cup too. I like drinking the fruitista and then eating the strawberries out of the bottom of the cup, they are so sweet and delicious.

Oh, I didn't know they had a new drink. Mango... mmm sounds good! And the strawberry does too! Now I really want to go to Taco Bell for a Fruitista! Thanks for the info. =]

I want to go there, too, but I've been eating too much, so I can't do it unless I stop overeating.

those fruitistas are the best thing taco bells ever came up with. For some reason, while im drinking it and eating taco bell, i just cant believe its from the same company.
