I am just pretty curious how guys clean their toenails, as in those dirt that clutters in-between their nails. Do you also go to parlors, how do you maintain your toenails? If you don't know how to, then who does it for you?
It's just one of the things I also learn how to do by myself, but sometimes I also go to parlors or call our contacts and do home service.
So how about you guys, care to share?

Thanks for allowing us (women) to participate here.
I have a cousin who is very meticulous with his nailcare. he even puts the natural-looking polish on his nails so they won't get stained quite easily.
Personally, I am impressed with men who maintain clean nails and toenails. Some of you don't have to go to the parlor if you are always wearing shoes and socks your toenails won't get dirt easily.

Yep, but we all have different physical outlooks. Some guys are too stubborn to trim, clean their nails.
We have a manicure kit here, that's what I always use when I trim my nails and remove those dirts tuck within and on the edges of my nails.

My husband cuts and cleans his own toes. He usually cleans them when he showers or takes a bath. I don't think he has even been to a parlor either. I think it's great you do :)

Oh sorry raijin I misread your post.
Even better if someone drops by your home and you get a pedicure in the process :)

You mean men clean their toenails? Really? Since when? rotflmao :))))) My husband props his foot up on the toilet seat and has at it.... I think he is hopping the nail trimmings will fall in there, and I should be grateful he is at least in the bathroom doing it!

I was curious of how they do it and who if someone does it for them, because I do the cleaning myself.
In my case, I do it in my room, outside the house (garden) as long as there is light so I can clearly see what I'm doing.
That's a good thing, no worries on picking or cleaning those trimmed nails and all..

I've been with my husband, almost 12 years. 5 years of being engaged to him and almost 7 years being married to him. BUT!!!I have never cleaned his toenails. And I don't dare. Besides, his eyes and hands are in still perfect condition. He can use both to clean his own toenails.
Aside from that reason, he doesn't trust me to do his nails, though. He's afraid I might slash him (Freddy Krueger style)hehehe. He saw what happened to my mother's big toe after she had a toenail cleaning service. I think....he was traumatized after that!

I understand your hubby, it can be painful at times as well as it can be a traumatic experience. Sometimes, the injury can be forever once the pedicurist doesn't know how to handle cleaning our nails.
But hey, it's a good thing he learned something from it and you don't need to do the cleaning for him too.

If he ever asks me to clean his toenails, then there's one condition. One toenail is equal to one household chore that he needs to do!!!Now... I don't think he'll ever dare ask me to clean his nails again.

as a guy we do tend to just let it go from time to time. I do my best when I am in the tub to make sure I scrub my toenails and fingernails. Then I make all attempts of keeping them cleaned and trimmed proper like. But as you would guess men are mostly not keen to the little things like that. Luckily my wife really loves me and will do them when i ask her to help out with the can't reach areas on my feet. I mean I would do it for her so why not Right?

My wife do it for me. We have a set of cleaning tools like nipper, nail cutter, and others. But in some cases that my nails have to be cleaned and my wife is so busy with some household task, I do it my own. I've learned it from high school.

Take some warm water. Add some shampoo and few drops of lemon. Soak the feet for about 10 min. You might be surprised at the beauty of the feet.

EEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!
I could NEVER clean another's toenails!!!
i have feet trouble and i hate to do mine, it is SO painful, but when i do, i soak my feet first or get them right after a bath.
One foot i can not do too well because Of surgery on my knee when I was younger. I can't bend my knee all the way, so it is a bothersome job.

My husband is just cutting his nails regularly. He wont even allow me to do it..LOL, He is cutting it short enough to level his skin so there is no way for any dirt to stay there, plus he wears socks every day and even inside the house, he has socks! I never saw him going to any parlor for that!

Nice topic.
Anyways, typically girls do know how to clean their toe nails. I do know, but still I do avail the parlor's service. Hmmmm... with my father's, I do clean his toes whenever I feel obsessively-compulsively seeing them not so tidy.

Ah! That's what my -ex used to do at me, especially when she sees my feet every weekends. She's good in cleaning it, but I also have to learn doing it myself after we broke up.
I render some home service, my sister has lots of friends who works in parlor and do some manicure/pedicure service. I would tag along, once she has a scheduled service..

I know some folks who's feet are delicate and complicated when left unclean, even saw others using a stick just to pluck those dirt clogged in their nails. Eww! I don't like doing that, because it might accidentally infect my feet.
That's good for your hubby, he sure knows how to maintain his own nails..

My biological father has his all of his nails done at a nail parlour. He spends 200 pounds on his nails all the time. He is rather feminine.

i've seen a lot of guys who gets a home service to clean their toenails. and sometimes, when i go to the parlor, i see guys getting the toenail cleaning service. before i thought it wasn't very manly but i learned to accept the fact that men are lazy and vain too. like women. but there was a guy i met who i can't really believe because he told me he never cuts his own toenail. as in never. he has to get a home service or go to a parlor. now, that i can't accept. ^__^;; i mean, its okay to have it done by a pedicurista sometimes but not all the time. right?
