Do you take it out on people if you are having a bad day?

No. It isn't their fault. I try to keep my distance if I'm being a grouch.

I know that I have done both! I try to avoid people until I cool down or pass the mood, just for damage control. I know what I am capable of when I am not happy. I try to be mindful of other when I am down, but it doesn't always work out :)

I am sad to report that I do on occasion do both. I let them know I am having a bad day and not feeling well and don't want to be bothered and if they still do I sometimes get angered because I respect when they aren't feeling well and in a bad mood and I leave them alone I just want the same courtesy. I get alot of migraines and they are he'll when being bothered. So I tend to stay away from people but they keep finding me like I have a tracking device implanted in my hinnie..lolEver feel that way. No matter what you do or where you go they find you?

I think I have probably also done both before. I think I do sort of avoid people until I'm feeling better because I usually just don't feel like being around a lot of other people if I'm having a really bad day. I usually just prefer to be alone. I think I do accidentally take it out on my husband though sometimes. I always feel really awful afterward. I really try not to do that, but I'm sure it does happen on occasion accidentally.

It depends on how bad a day I'm having, and what pissed me off in the first place. If I get pissed at a stranger, I take it out on the cashier or some other stranger. If I get pissed at my husband, he catches it all plus more! If I get ticked off b/c of something my son has done, I just get mad and stay that way. I can't and won't take it out on him, so I just get snarky and peevish all day, and mostly just avoid people when that happens. It just depends. I've done both, for different reasons at the time.

I usually try to avoid others when I'm having a bad day because it hurts me when I hurt someone else's feelings. It makes me feel worse and makes the bad day worse. I do know some people tho who feel perfectly comfortable yelling at anyone in sight when they're having a bad day and never feel any guilt whatsoever about it.
