I have been looking for a data entry job which doesn't have any sign up fees or hidden fees. Most of them tells you that it's free to sign up but after giving out your email address, you'll soon find out that you have to at least pay a one time fee. Those fees are for the training materials that they will send you thru email. Why is it that they will tempt you to sign up and brag that it's free, all of sudden there are training materials to be paid for? Is this a scam?

I also consider it as a Scam. A serious company will advise you about a sign-up fee and give you details about the work you will do, and also they review your skills and other issues. The phrase "free sign/up" is use to get your email and other personal profile in order to use it as a marketing tool.

Yes, probably a scam...
...when you fail, they will say you did not read or train properly...
...I use a few real job finders that are free to sing up for. Here are two of them.

I do work on KeyForCash.com. It is free to sign up, and I was put on a waiting list for about a week before they contacted me to start working. It is NOT get rich quick in any way. Currently, I am paid 55 cents for every 1000 keystrokes not including the "ENTER" key. This averages between 4 and 5 dollars per hour. And its US only. And they don't always have work available. Last week I made $53. Its nice extra cash if nothing else. Good Luck!
