i am asking becuase it seems like i used to actually live my life on the computer..lol id wake up in the morning, turn the computer on, then the coffee pot then shower. Id get out of the shower, grab a cup of coffee and sit at the computer in my bathrobe. hours would pass then i would finally get dressed! id get dressed have a cigerette, grab something for lunch sit at the computer hours later, clean up the house, organize the bedrooms, prepare something for dinner and go back to the compuer.. so on and so on.. WOW!! insane!! Ive noticed how crazy that was when my babies were born. i still do my morning routine get up coffee pot on and computer on, shower, but then i would wake up my daughter for school, and while she is eating or getting dressed i would be at the computer in my bathrobe until it was time to walk to the busstop. then i would return home work on the computer a little bit more and wait for the babies to wake up. I m on it alot less now!! but i leave it turned on all day from 6am-10pm so that i can grab a quick "play or work" time on it through out the day. its insane!! i dont think that i would bare the thought of ever losing internet access. thats so insane!! LOL how about you? what is your computer habits like??

Yes I find myself doing that to. I love being on here ya it makes the time pass quick but it's fun. I get so lost in answering discussion that I forget all about the time. I do eventually get some other things done as well but I'm right back on here afterwards. It's addicting.

I definitely spend way too much time on the computer. My messengers are always online and I can't imagine going for more than a day without internet access! I check my Facebook/myLot/Myspace coooonstantly. Haha. I'm a graphic designer so I spend a hell of a lot of time on the computer anyway.

I have to have my computer and internet also. that is how I make my daily money. I have had computer problems lately and it drove me nuts. It was almost like not having a computer because my access to it was limited with the problem. I have to have my computer for alot of things. I do my banking and pay my bills online also. I would go nuts without the internet.

Yes, I live off my computer, although I have to say that sometimes, I can get better off the temptation to use a computer and better stick with a book. The moment I wake up in the morning, I check to se, if the downloads have completed. Then I switch to gtalk and get the gmail notifications. I respond back t any discussions I have received comments on and then play some music. All this happens simultaneously as I'm getting ready to go to college. The moment I get back from college, I am back on the computer again and try to get the work done on it.. Like studying and researching. bourne

I spend a lot of time in front of a computer because that is a major part of my job. Fortunately, I'm pretty good at keeping up and getting ahead which is why I have free time this morning to be here instead of filing, which is another part of my job and the part I can't stand doing. In the evenings I don't normally go online but I do spend an hour or so on the computer on Saturday and Sunday, catching up with my email and goofing around. I used to play games online but I don't do that anymore.

I spend a fair amount of time on the computer every day, approximately 5 hours. Though I'm trying to cut this number down, it's very addictive and seems to be hard to do.

I am not working and a stay at home mom. But I feel I am quite similar to you. I would sit infront of computer most of the time. I would postpone all the cleaning work and do things on computer. I would broswe all day long and it seems day time is not enough for me. A few months ago I realised that my son was not speaking enough for his 2 years. So I Found time to communicate with him and started spending time reading books and communicating with him. After that I moved to a new house and all those activities kept me away from computer. But slowly I am shifting to my old self.

I spend alot of time on my computer. My husband don't like it, so when he is home, I try to stay off of it, unless he watches something that I don't want to.

My day is close to that; get up cut on the computer; fix a pot of coffee; shower and then come to the computer for the day to come to mylots. This had become an everyday spot for me. Sunday i didn't log on at or even turn on the computer. I get up late so i'm not here all day. Then there is times that i do other things while on the pc.I try not to be here that much but can't help it.

Some times, they ( computers ) seem better than humans to interact with, though lack emotions.

Well I think that I have had my moments of internet addiction myself. I used to be online every waking moment during the summer while I was still in school and later after work or before going into work. I was much the same with the computing and then morning shower. I met my fiance on the internet, and I was literally spending most of my time on the internet if I Wasn't at work. I worked very long shifts (23 hours shifts, and this I am not kidding about) but would spend that hour online with my fiance, before he finally made me quit. Computers are just a habit now, sometimes good sometimes bad.

Yes, I really do because since I am working in the office and computer is my companion. Sometimes I have eye problem because my eyes were all day stuck on my computer screen. After working in the office, I will go to the net cafe to log on to mylot and there I will be stuck again for several hours. I think, my 12 hours a day is spent on the computer.

i get that way sometimes.. except instead of an eye problem i will get a slight headache. ive noticed which sites or pages make it worse or less intense for me.. if i go a whole morning without the internet my headache will subside.

I am very much hooked up with my computer. Since the time it became my source of income i spent most of my time researching. Usually i start at noon time till evening though it's not continously- i mean like after 3 hours i rest and do some other daily work at home then if i finish i checked again and work or about an hour and stop and i'll get back work at 10 pm till 2am. Well sometimes when internet is gone that's the time i get the rest longer.

I seem to spend many hours sitting at my computer, and there have been occasions when I have spent all day and into the evening on the internet. I know I shouldn't but it's almost an addiction sometimes. For me, however, it is also a lifeline as I am stuck at home so the internet is my way of keeping up with friends near and far.

No - I am outside a good part of the day doing other things. I'm inside on the computer more when the weather is bad.

I do spend a lot of time on the computer. I'm usually here, checking email or websites I manage throughout the day, or gaming to release stress. I'm actually on the computer more than I want to be. I'm hoping that when we relocate, I won't feel the need to be in the house so much. That would be a blessing, to be away from the computer a little more than I am. Maybe then, when I am on the computer.. I will be more productive!

My computer is turned on the whole day. I'm switching it on at 8AM and off at midnight. Certainly i'm not using it non-stop. When I'm outdoor I'm always using Opera Mini on my cell-phone. It means that the Internet is a solid part of my life.
