i agree with you - it differs to person to person and country to country.
i believe most of the breakage of love is due to ego problems. first impression is the best impression.
getting a lovely partner is the god's gift. understanding each others plays the vittal role in relationship

my first love was at 16years old but we're not together, but i still care for him, the reason is cause, i'm from haiti, i had move to FL 8 years ago, we were still talking but it came to a point that i see the long distance it's not working for us

yeah he still love me, but i don't think we can be together, i already make up my mind, it's not that i broke up with him to be with someone else, but it just doesn't feel right.Do you think i made the right decision, he once told me if i leave him he'll never love someone again, he'll just be with a girl for fun,sometimes i felt guilty about it but i just don't know what to do

I remember falling in love at the age of 12. I really admired her being both beautiful and intelligent. She was my first love "infatuation as you can say".

Well, i was 17 years old, and the girl was 15. I started encouraging her, she was going to have some exams which she passed and she kinda liked that, so she started liking me as well. After a couple of weeks we ended up together, so i could say that she was my first love. It did not last long though, but aside from that we remained friends to this day, but no, i don't love her anymore.

My first love. That would have been in the 8th grade. His name was Davon and yes I still love him, but not in that way. He's now one of my best friends. We tried dating each other again when we were 18 and it didn't work out. So we're the best of friends now. He's like a brother to me. I love him to peices and I'd do anything for him. He's always there for me, like family is supposed to be... Having said that, we would NEVER get in a relationship again! It just doesn't work and we don't want it to.

Oh my!!! Who doesn't remember their first love, or is it just me. I was thirteen years old and Scott Tredway asked me to be his girlfriend in a note he handed me at the bus stop. How cheesy!!! It even had the check yes or no boxes at the bottom. And I thought boys didn't do silly stuff like that.
Of course I checked yes and we dated throughout Jr. High School. And of course it ended in disaster as most first loves do. Even though we were kids it seemed like the end of the world when we were no longer together (details withheld). It broke my little heart and then I had to see him over the next three years in High School.
I'm 26 and I still think about him now and then. Pathetic right? Im happily married but I always wonder how different my life would be if I had never met Scott or if we had stayed together.
