Do you think that technology may take over most things in the world?

I can definately see robots coming in our future. and it is not that big of a stretch to picture artificial intelligence in them. I think that eventually robots and electronic things will probably do a lot of the jobs that humans did in the past. we will simply find a different way to live if or when this happens. Someday we will find a different way of getting the things we need that might not require money anymore but it's a LONG time away.

I think they already have robots; most of the movies have proto types of what they are working on. The computer is the start of robots. Some jobs it will take over but the medical field will still be open to everyone; construction and a few others. I hope not cause then they will start killing off people like in I robot. The last question i'm not sure of. With all of the technology that is going around that would make the Matrix a true movie and it's just fiction right????

Yes, I do believe we will have robots for a lot of services. The technology companies are already working hard on that concept. Each year I hear about a more advanced version. They will eventually have one that can cook and clean and such. Technology is already such a great part of our lives anyway. Do I like it? Not really. Scientists are also working on getting robots to 'think' in order to achieve a better response from them and in order for the robot to easily adjust to each situation it may be confronted with. Although it's all supposed to be within limited parameters, what if... you know...robots are one day so advanced that they take over. Yes, it's stuff you now only see in movies but the thinking behind it is not so off base. Fortunately it's doubtful they will get that far in my lifetime, lol. But it would be nice to have a cleaning robot in the house.
