MS Dhoni- plays for himself

Since becoming captain he has fair luck on his side that some players played for their place and to prove themselves like Gautam Gambhir, which has resulted in MSD to win a few matches as captain. But everyone should see what he is doing as captain. whenever wickets are falling, he always demotes himself down the order and when India looses or chennai looses he always blames the top order for failing. He did this when India lost to Pakistan in OD series, then he blamed top order (Sachin, sehwag, gambhir) in Australia for loosing early wickets. Dhoni became famous when scored centuries at No 3 but now he never bats high when wickets are falling but promotes himself as soon as he sees a good partnership to score quickly, and in that situation if he fails, he says that he has too hit quickly so he failed, and if he hits well and makes big runs, then he always take the praise. He never takes the blame on himself. In chennai vs banglore match, as soon as he saw a good opening partnership, he promoted himself and got out cheaply, giving Banglore a good rare win. anyone has to say something about selfish dhoni?

Well, I don't think we should be too agressive with our views on our Sportsperson. But yes, overall I think there are few observations that makes me wonder whether Dhoni is really a good captain or it's just what he touches turns to gold these days. I think he should remember luck only stays for a time period, it's not always one can expect luck to be on the side.

Why does Indians criticize their players so much. I remember you guys killed couple of your good players for foolishness. Dhoni is one man. A cricket side made up of 11 players. All eleven players ought to contribute. I watch every side which play cricket. My favourite side outside the West Indies is India. If Dhoni do not perform with the bat well his gloves make up for it. I remember in the last world cup the players were afraid to come home. Cricket is a sport like any other one. It is for FUN. Cricket is a game of uncertainity that is why it is so well-love and well-hate. Be proud of your side even if it is not winning. My side is No. 8 and I am still proud. We were King Pins but this is cricket and that how it goes.
