Did you play an instrument in band? If so, do you continue to play it today..either professionally, in your own house, or with friends? I used to play trombone. I still play today (many, many years later.lol)...but only at home! I still love it! How about others? What instrument did you play?

I used to play some guitar in our high school band but my job was mostly to sing and knock everyone's socks off. Playing in a band is great especially if you get some money for it. Doing it professionally can be boring, doing the same thing every night unless you get really famous and make lots of money.

Sounds like you were pretty good! I love to sing, but I sing alto.

Hi I saw this late. I played the viola in high school and got very good at it. I was eventually pulled out of the school symphony orchestra to be a lead in a major school production. I had always wanted to be a part of those but the chorale directress wouldn't let me audition. Then she heard me sing at a school concert. I sang with the orchestra backing me and it was awesome. I switched to the violin and I'm playing etudes from time to time. Since then, I've learned the guitar. I am looking forward to learning the pennywhistle, piano and the flute.

Still being in highschool, I continue to be in band, so I guess I can't exactly answer the question. But I play the baritone in band, so go low brass! Band is one of my favorite pastimes. It's so fun and the people in band are usually the nicer ones to be around.
