Are you a bad driver?

Lately, people just piss me off in traffic. And the worst, at least around here, is tail-gating. So many times I'm driving above speed limit and there's some yahoo on my tail driving three inches from my bumper acting like they're in a great big hurry. They don't realize (or don't care) that if I needed to stop quickly for any reason, they'd be in my back seat before they could react. Occasionally I get mad and brake quickly, just to give them a warning to back off. Instead they honk and give me the finger, like I'm the one doing something wrong. It annoys the crap out of me!! I want to get a sign or something for my back window that will flash "back the f&ck off" or something so people will give me some space. And I live in Ontario, where it seems to be okay to cut someone off as long as you wave "thank you" afterward. lol. Are there habits of other drivers that annoy you? Or are you the bad driver that aggravates everyone else out there? I've been driving since I was 14 and first got my learner's permit. I'm almost 29. How long have you been driving? Have you ever had any major accidents?

I live in Pennsylvania, so I got my license at 16 and I've been driving for about 18 years. My biggest complaint is what I call "Sunday" drivers. You know, the one's who drive about 10 mph under the speed limit and all over the road because they're looking at the scenery?! I admit, Pennsylvania has some beautiful scenery, but have some consideration for the person behind you!!!! I usually drive the speed limit but sometimes a little faster and I can't stand slow people. On the other hand, I know where you're coming from. I stopped in the middle of the road one day because a guy was tailgating me. I got out of my car and walked back to his (I knew him or I never would have done this!) and asked him if he would like me to open my trunk so he could just put his car in it. Like I said, I knew him and he laughed and backed off when we started moving again, but sometimes I wish I had the guts to do that to some of the drivers I don't know!!! LOL!

I have been driving for way too long..geez..37 years and have never had an accident or ticket(knock on wood). I can totally relate to everything you are saying because I deal with drivers like that too and it is beyond irritating. Besides tail-gating the other things that get me are 1. the clueless ones talking on their cell phones and 2. we have alot of older people in our community that should NOT be driving...seriously...according to my local news, last week a 97 year old man was stopped and cited for driving without a license? What the hay is a 97 year old man doing driving?

Oh I think if I slammed on my brake and the dude honked and flipped me off, would only cause me to go even slower. I smoke when I drive, I don't like to flick my butts out the window, I have e empty soda can with water in it for that. Now, when I'm driving and a person is to close to my bumper and keep doing it after I slow down a little to give them warning. I will flick my butt out the window, just so that it will hit the driver's windshield. That usually does the trick. Slamming on the brakes and causing that driver to hit you, can have bad side effects here. You can also be charged for causing the accident. I only drive 5 over the speed limit. So I think I'm doing ok, and if anyone that wants to ride my a*s can get a butt flicked at them.
