Help with uploading photo

Hey I'm new here and I know this may sound silly LoL but I'm having trouble with uploading my photo to replace the default avatar :P I went to the "my photos" section where it says to add a photo to your profile but its asking me to add tags and to give the photo a subject etc. When I did this my photo went into the list where my interests are LoL so I decided to delete it as it didnt replace the default picture, I never have trouble uploading pictures but this ones got me baffeld
