Are there any dog people here?

I have a four year old pekingese and have a six month old Pomeranian. They are like members of the family. The peke is a grumpy old man...lol. He's a good boy, but he hates change. We got the puppy from my daughter's father so she has watched the pup since she was born. She is rather funny and bouncy. They are both nice family dogs who spread themselves around to everybody so are loved on 24/7. I always had both cats and dogs, but my daughter is allergic to cats so we have dogs. We also have four sugar gliders, including a brand new baby glider and a rat so it is kind of a zoo around here.

I don't have a dog, but I'd love to have one! Maybe a lab, a daschund, a boston terrier, a boxer and a greyhound.

I have a cat and a dog. I do not like the cat. I have a very close relationship with my dog. His name is bear and he is part beagle.

I have 4 dogs a shitzu, mini pincher, pug and a japanese pitz... i'm not sure if that's how you spell them...

I have seven dogs :)! I love them all very much. Not one less than another. They all get equally tons of love and attention from me every day. They are quite spoiled actually.My little ones sleep by me every night. I wouldn't raise them any other way. I have 5 chihuahuas and two large dogs;one Pit and Lab and the other Black Lab and Australian Shephard. Their names are Snooks,Jazzy,Tater tot,Hoosier,Heavenly and Serenity. They are my babies; my furry angels.

I am definately a dog person. When I was growing up we had a dog. When I got married we had a cat for a short timwe and it was nice, but I did not have the affection for it that I do dogs. My son was allergic so we had to give her up. Later in life my older son had 3 dogs, and was in the army. He and his wife divorced and he sent the dogs back to us in the states. We bonded so much when he came home, they preferred us and a short time later ( after second wife rejected the dogs) we had them all the time. They were like my babies, esp my longhaired daschund she was VERY smart. His new wife thought dogs should be kept outside and the dogs did not like her. Animals are smart, they had her sized up. I have learned to judge people by the way they treat animals. It is very telling.

I haven't got a dog or any pet but I would love to have one. As a matter of fact, I dreamed about this 2 nights back. But there are several reasons why I have not got one. They include primarily the costs involved, how I have to clean up its mess and also the dog fur! As much as I would love very much to have a pet, I think I am not totally ready to be a responsible dog-owner yet. So I am staying out for now.

There is a huge category specifically labeled "dogs" and there are tons of posts in there about dogs. I have two dogs. Our three year old female is a vizsla mix and our 6 month old male is a german shephard mix. They both are wonderful dogs although we are going through all those annoying puppy things with our little guy.

Hi There, I also have two cats...but no dog. However, I am totally a dog person. I would absolutely love to have a dog but am worried about bringing a dog into the house with the two cats here. I am thinking they may attack the dog. My favourite type of dog is a German Shepherd. cheers,

I have 2 Maltese brats. Spoiled rotten. They're 5 lbs. and 7 lbs. of white fluff who think they own the world. I love dogs!

Hello, I am a huge dog lover so can definately answer this one. I have always loved dogs even when I was at scholl and soon got a job working at a boarding/rescue kennels. When I left school I worked there full time and while I was there bought home my little dog Honey whos a shih tzu lhasa apso mix, she is m baby and I adore her, I cant believe her old owners just got rid of her. After I had worked there four years I left and trained as a dog groomer and worked at a salon for four years, finally leaving to set up my own business which has been going just over a year. Cant imagine doing anything but work with dogs now. And certainly plan on having more one day!
