what's with this pair of slippers that makes it expensive?
well for me it looks like our 50 pesos worth of a rubber slipper (50 pesos=$.90)
there are lots of slippers here in the philippines that are much like havaianas slippers but still, there are many people who buy it. is it beacues of he price that makes them contended?

That's also my question before when I came first to see that brand. I even ask the sales lady why is it so expensive? Does it have gold sands inside? LOL
I think those who buy havaianas have different reasons. Some says durability, comfort and style. For me I don't care about the brand if you can afford to buy the expensive ones then go but if not be contented on what you can afford just like. I don't have any pair of it since I dont have the money.

The quality and the fact that it is imported makes Havainas more expensive. I know the slippers you mean and they don't come close to the durability and comfort that the former provides. I dunno if some people buy Havaianas for the brand, I for one, buy it for the reasons I mentioned. I've even tried climbing a mountain wearing Havaianas and we both survived. I go on foot most of the time and use Havaianas, the rubber is still thick and nice.

i dunno maybe the people who buy them are after the brand... but i'm not and i have 1 pair... maybe coz it doesn't break that easily and you can use it to go out...
