Dsney Musicals, who misses them?

I used to love watching Disney movies for the music. Okay, well I still watch the older ones for that reason. I've memorized most of the songs to the older Disney movies. But I've noticed that they stopped making decent Disney movies. It's mostly sequels and non-musical ones. Does anyone else wish they'd go back to their roots? Go back to the classic fairy-tales with catchy songs that every little kid knows by heart?

Yeah, the older ones had way more depth in them. If that makes sense, lol. The atmosphere was different and the songs were cooler. Plus, I'm getting tired of CGI toons. I guess drawing cartoons are a thing of the past. At least there are still some drawn TV shows. But yeah, they stopped making decent ones years ago.

Thank you, I totally agree. I know exactly what you mean by more depth. I'm with you on the CG toons. I'll admit that some of them are really cool. Take Beowulf for example. That was amazing what they have accomplished, but I wanna see a hand drawn cartoon soooo bad. I alsohate that they are putting the classics in the "Vault." It's just a way to get you buy the movies on their terms. And I don't want to wait for them to re-release them so that I can buy them. Ya know?
