People would usually have the impression that if the place is not quiet then it's not good to read on that kind of environment. How about you, can you handle the noise while reading something? Would you prefer to read on a quiet area or you're just fine if there's a noise while reading?

It depends on what I am reading, sometimes I can read even with those noises. But if I'm reading something that interests or intrigues me, then I have to find a quiet place to enjoy and focus on what I'm reading.
But the thing that I can't handle is, reading on a moving vehicle because it makes me nauseous.

My partner says I can read anywhere, it doesn't matter if I am curled up in my chair in the quiet of the evening or sitting on a crowded train surrounded by noise. I do prefer a quiet environment when I am reading though, not so many distractions.

If I like the subject or the book I am reading I can very well concentrate on what I am doing. I won't even know what is happening around me. I am known for that. You should ask my mother... she'll be calling me all the time.. but I would n't have heard her at all. Then she'll come and pull the book from me nagging at me all the time that I am not listening and intentionally keeping quiet without answering her. But I may as well tell you, she would not have believed me.. I had not heard her calling at all. I was that much immersed in my reading.

i prefer to read when it's quiet. Sometimes, i prefer reading when im alone in my room because if i have company i get distracted and i end up not understanding what i am reading.
