When you post a discussion how long is your typical response...better wording...how long does it take people to respond to your discussion? I really want people to jump on my discussions but I'm not pressed or anything. I view Mylot as the company watercooler area. Anything can be asked. Or discussed for that matter.

Now how long does it usually take for you to get a response to your discussions?

Welcome to myLot!
It's usually only a matter of a few minutes for me, but of course it can vary.
I see that you're new here and if I may offer a suggestion on how to get more responses, and quicker.
Add lots of friends! You only have 6 friends listed right now, so that means pretty much only 6 people are going to see this discussion unless they are looking in that particular category, or it happens to jump up into a 'best discussion' area.
A lot of people respond only to discussions that their friends start and they do it right from their email, so in your case, only 6 people would see this right now. Even if they come to the site, a lot of people (myself included) work mainly from the items at the right of my home page, so if it's not seen there, you won't get the responses you probably deserve.
I'm sending you a friend request, so that'll get you up to 7. Go request lots more!

A couple of minutes, I guess. It depends, if the topic I am responding at needs a lot of thinking then it would take about 5min. max. time..
I always pause for a while, because I make sure that I choose better wordings and good descriptions on my posts.

I think it all depends on the content of the title. Some sound boring, others are intriguing. I think the more interesting the title of the discussion is, the faster you'll get responses. I've gotten some in as little as a few seconds after posting. Others took a few minutes.
