She tould me "her husband had had a massive heart attack, he drove himself to hospital 28miles away? Then he drove home later that day? the next day he was fixing his motor bike????????? How true is that! Rubbish? Why do people lie about illness, they should be pleased they are in good health crazy isnt it. Do you know anyone like these people! or am I the only person with weird neighbours?

OMG That sounds like a couple who love drama and sympathy! We know what it is like to have health problems - maybe they just can't handle an ordinary life but maybe they should try another way to get excitement - they may turn out like the boy who cried Wolf! As for me I am pleased to say I have good neighbours and some are absolutely fantastic! xxx

OMG That must be terrible! I do know people who seem to spend all their time pretending to be ill and looking for drama and sympathy - especially when it is so obvious that they haven't had a heart attack let alone a major one! I guess I am lucky in that I have very good neighbours! xxx

How could people made up story like that? I think your neighbor need some attention. As far as I know, words same as a pray, and one day it will come true. If she kept repeat it again and again. I will not surprise if the husband out from no where just die having a real heart attack.
I know she didn't mean it, but if she understand this, she will stop lieying.

Hi Gollywog! Yes, that is rubbish! How could someone having a major heart attack can drive himself to the hospital and then be able to drive himself back home later. haha..I think there is nothing wrong with his heart, only with his head! I remember once when I was out dining with my friends. I got a call from my friend's husband and he was asking for his wife. I gave my mobile phone to my friend and then my friend turned so white. After the call, she told us that her husband is having a heart attack. Of course, we got worried then asked the waiter to hand us our bill even though our food was just served. Then the husband called me again and he was now screaming and said that what are we doing, don't we know that he is having a heart attack and now that he is on his way to the hospital walking. I was really getting angry and then another friend of mine got the phone and told our friend's husband that we were just waiting for the bill and we will come for him and take him to the hospital. So, one friend of ours took him to the hospital and he was checked out the same night. Imagine that? He is just faking his illness and the truth about that is he always have this heart attacks just to keep his wife at his side all the time! Weirdo! I know also someone who has a mother in law who fake her illness just to make sure her son will always be at her beck and call. Gosh, I just hate those kind of people.
Take Care and God Bless! Happy Mylotting!

Evil is a minor word for them! they just dont know when to stop the lies. There are so many people realy ill, and they are the fakers and get away with it? My father had a heart attack many years ago and that was not a massive one but he was taken to hospital by ambulance and kept in for 3 days for tests? He was in a lot of pain and could not have taken himself to Hospital.

Hi Gollywog! That is very true with people having heart attacks. Goodness, people having real heart attacks can't even sometimes talk when they have those attacks. Soon those who are faking their illness will get the real thing. I am sure if that time comes, they wished they never had it.
Take Care and God Bless! Happy Mylotting!

Somehow I can't help thinking there's plenty of strange and unusual neighbors out there.. I never know exactly how to act when someone exaggerates or tells a wild story..

This would drive me mad. I don't know anyone like this myself but it would really annoy me if I did and I would just have to say something. Hypercondriac (prob spelt wrong) I wonder what they would really be like if something was actually wrong with them? Grrrr. He probably had indigestion and the hospital is busy enough without having to dispense Rennie. Ellie :D

There are some folk that thrive on being ill!!and the more ill that they think they are the happier they become!a friend has that problem, she has had every ailment that is going, and as if that wasnt bad enough, she decribes the effects blow by blow, elongating each little snippet of information, until you are at least led to believe that the illness is terminal. She would have it no other way,she enjoys it to the full annd without these illnesses her life would be empty!

Hey Gollywog, You know what they say, be careful what you ask for, they are playing with fire. You don't take on an illness you don't have you might find yourself with that illness you're (your neighbor) pretending to have.

LOL, maybe you should start making up really wild stories yourelf to tell them! Your neighbor must be a pretty tough man though because "massive" heart attacks are pretty serious and usually require some sort of surgery. Don't make him mad...he might do something to you...or have another massive heart attack and it'll be all your fault.

Medically speaking, I'm not defending your neighbours but without knowing how "Massive" his heart attack was, couldn't tell ya if he's able to do what he was, or he claimed to do... but I tell ya this, buddy of mine had a heart attack & didn't even know it... He valunteers at his local library & it's close enough to his house where he walks to & from it... One day on his way home, he felt a sharp pain on his chest so he decided to sit down for a bit... After a while, pain subsided enough for him to walk the rest of the way home... He shook it off thinking may be it was too hot out & he got over heated or something... Few hours later, he started feeling dizzy & he was getting out of breath so he finally decided to go to the hospital & have it checked out... make a long story short, he ended up having a bypass surgery & stayed in the hospital for 6 days... Point here is, if he really had a heartattack, I can see him driving himself to the hospital but that's about it... But then I'm not a doctor so can't really say... On the other note, it must be really annoying to have a neighbours like that... I talk to one of my neighbour... I haven't spoken to my next door neighbour since I moved into my house which was 17 years ago... When I moved in, we said hi to each other & that was the last time I spoken to her...

I was Healthy fit and active till 6 years ago when I was diagnosed with my Illness and I wish I was back to being healthy fit and active but unfortunately never will be again
It makes me mad when People lie about being sick as I came across it recently again and it is sick to do that

This sounds like my tenant. Every time her rent is due someone is dying or some major catastrophe is occurring. She can never call me of course and let me know and can't pick up her cell phone when I call her.

Sounds like your neighbor is crying wolf way too many times. One of these days it's really going to happen and everyone will ignore her since she's cried wolf alot over the same thing. I don't know anyone who does this even thou I'm always complaining about some pain or another, but that's all it is..just complaints over muscle aches and pains.
